I have been fitting Kitchens now for over 27 years. In that time the industry has moved on considerably.
I started my career at 16 as an Apprentice Carpenter & Joiner. After two years ,I took and passed with Distinction my City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery! I then studied for a further year and took the Advanced City & Guilds exam and passed with a Distinction in the practical and two credits in the other two modules.
At 21 I became a Chargehand and then at 24 I became a Foreman with 3 Chargehands and 60 men below me! I did this for 4 years until I decided to go self-Employed fitting Kitchens. I later added fitted Bathrooms, Wardrobes, Offices and even worked on large refurbishments of a couple large properties.
